Glenn Beck is the Anti-Christ

These are wicked, crazy, frightening people says Glenn Beck and he's right -- absolutely right. Anyone who would broadcast a story that WWW.cars.gov, the site that explains the government's cash-for-clunkers program will trick you into signing away the rights to all the information in your computer is wicked, crazy and frightening.
“They can continue to track you, basically forever, once they’ve tapped into your system … it’s so broad that they can do just about anything.” says Beck's vampiric foil Guilfoyle.
“I know who our czars are now, and this collection of these czars, these are evil people. These are wicked, crazy, frightening people.” replied Beck on his Fox News program.

The show went on to have Jonah Goldberg lie that if you log onto the site with Skype, you're giving them permission to listen to all your phone calls - something their hero Bush did with Fox's blessing.

It's a lie of course, says Kos and I'd like to think that by now someone in the Foxhouse would have bothered to notice that the privacy statement Beck showed us wasn't from Cars.gov at all but from a system registered dealers use to report the sales. you couldn't log into this system if you wanted to. I'd like to think there would be some kind of apology - in fact I'd like to see some kind of criminal prosecution, wouldn't you? I'm sure we won't. I'm sure we will see and hear more and bigger and more outrageous lies and no one will do a damned thing as we slide into ruin.

Some in our Church believe that Glen Beck is the Anti-Christ after this 8/28 "Religious" event. He fits the scripture. He presented himself as a Religious figure while Obama presents himself as not religious at all.
Beck claims that God is giving him a plan to share with mankind at 8/28 rally. According to the Book of Revelations the anti-christ will be a man, in his 40s, of Irvingites (Mormon) desent who will deceive the nations with persuasive language, and have a massive Christ-like appeal. The prophecy says that people will flock to him and he will promise false hope and world peace.
“The individual person of Antichrist will not be a demon, as some of the ancient writers believed; nor will he be the person of the devil incarnated in the human nature of Antichrist. He will he a human person, perhaps of Jewish extraction, if the explanation of Genesis 49:17, together with that of Dan's omission in the catalogue of the tribes, as found in the Apocalypse, be correct. It must be kept in mind that extra-Scriptural tradition furnishes us no revealed supplement to the Biblical data concerning Antichrist. While these latter are sufficient to make the believer recognize the "man of sin" at the time of his coming, the lack of any additional reliable revelation should put us on our guard against the daydreams of the Irvingites, the Mormons, and other recent proclaimers of new revelations.” New Advant online Catholic Encyclopedia
Beck only talks about God not Christ. Morman dissenters claimed that Smith had become the Anti-Christ in 1834 when he changed the church's name from " Church of Christ " to " Church of Latter Day Saints ," deleting the name of Jesus. Maybe they were off by a few years.

Of course history abounds with false anti-Christs as well as false messiahs, but from my point of view, the idea is only an archetype give us to describe what's too often in the hearts of too many of us.

Whatever is in the heart of Beck and his followers, it's an evil thing; a thing without moral scruple, a thing looking to gain more and more power through lies, libel and deceit.

Whether or not he's an anti-Christ, he's anti-Christian by my definition of what a Christian is. Everyone has their own ideas about what that means, but when someone tells you to abandon your church if it talks about justice, you have to ask yourself what sort of person sees justice as a bad thing?

well, a blast fro da past. amazed 2 c dis post was 13 months ago.

yeah, beck condemns social justice n progressivism, so i guess he favors social injustice n regressivism. (2 go backward, put the car in R?)

neway, i'm no believer, but i think maybe jung almost had it right w/ "collective unconscious", but in my opinion it's same as mcluhan's "information environment". if so, it may xplain how prophecies come true, such as this antichrist thing, applying gematria [hebrew numerology] 2 our alphabet n getting FOX = 666.
