Geronimo

I’m fed up with French jokes and French bashing, but if you’ve spent time in France, you know they like to smoke and don’t like to be told they can’t.

But Sandrine Helene Sellies is a cut above the others when it comes to courtesy.  When she just had to have a smoke, she took her cigarettes, a lighter and headed for the door.  Unfortunately Helene had taken a little something to soothe her nerves and a lot of something else to wash it down and the door was located at 30,000 feet over the Pacific

Arriving in Australia for a vacation with her husband, says BBC she pleaded guilty to endangering the safety of an aircraft at Brisbane Magistrates Court and was given a 12-month A$1,000 good behavior bond - she will forfeit the money if she commits another offence.  That’s if they can find her wallet in the wreckage.

And the tobacco industry insists nicotine is not addictive. I always bring nicotine patches for my husband for long flight. I can tell when he's jonesing for a cig.

I smoke cigarettes and they are addictive, but the French woman took it to the extreme! But the ones I have met don't have the same cultural sense of boundaries as we do here...Maybe she was extending her personal space zone! ha ha ha. Hey Funny post Cap'n Fogg. I responded to your truth statements with a post invoking quantum indeterminacy. You will laugh at the truth question within the QM framework! But look on the side bar because a couple of other articles precede it. If you aren't around this week, Happy Thxgiving BTW:)
