Carlin

"I don't have any beliefs or allegiances. I don't believe in this country, I don't believe in religion, or a god, and I don't believe in all these man-made institutional ideas,"

-George Carlin-

Yes, and you had the courage to tell us about it. I'll miss you, George.

I still laugh at one routine he did some years back, after talking about how he'd observed everyone now walking around with huge water bottles, which had recently become the rage. His story ended with a question, as it often did, where he asked, "when the F** did everyone get so thirsty?"

I'll miss the guy too.

He and I tended to get upset about the same things. Don't get me started on the "hydration systems" (bottles of water)and the pseudo-scientific research (sponsored by bottlers) that insists you have to drink (hydrate) constantly or die.

That's why I loved the guy - he noticed things and the rest of us just go along with crap without protest.
