Hastert has a solid defense: he was told about Foley. He should have paid attention. He should have asked questions, but he didn’t, so none of this is his fault. As with the entire Bush administration, incompetence and inattention are an acceptable excuse.
And besides a miracle happened yesterday, Mark Foley became a Democrat – at least he did on Fox News and besides Katharine Harris agrees. The whole thing reflects badly on the Media and the Democrats, says she.
Media skank and reputed crack whore Ann Coulter thinks it’s all just gossip so maybe we should just forget about it. All solid defenses here.
House Majority Leader John Boehner seems to think so too – like Coulter he’s suspicious of the “timing” which has been a successful ploy whenever the incompetence and malfeasance of a Republican leader hits the press. No, Foley’s boner can’t be real says Boehner; if it had been, we wouldn’t have heard about it. Makes sense because the damn page was probably a Democrat.
Just look into the little flashlight folks. In a moment you won’t remember a thing and you can safely vote Republican again.

Surprised you didn't write about this. Seems right up your alley.
The only reason Dr. Ben Marble got away with insulting Cheney was that it was done on camera. They were embarrassed to rough him up, but God help anyone who speaks up in what used to be a free country. As we all know, a man's standing as an enemy combatant can be defined as contradicting Bush about Iraq and an enemy combatant has no rights, be he citizen or not. They can legally waterboard him from now to doomsday.
Heil Bush
